“ Nothing but good things to say about Walnut, it's menu and it's staff. Great ambiance and decor with lots of attention to detail. A menu that is still evolving (they've only been open a couple of months) but already has some solid favourites for my wife & I who are vegetarians. Welcoming attentive staff and proprietors who are always checking to make sure that your dining experience is as good as it can be. We will continue to enjoy our visits. ”

“ We visited Walnut for dinner for the first time this week. Welcomed by the staff on arrival and you can tell straight away that every care is taken with service. The atmosphere is relaxed and the restaurant is comfortable they have aircon. The quality of the food is very very good and the cooking is excellent. We had steak and fish of the day both of which were perfectly cooked. The steak tartare was super fresh and very tasty. Great selection of local wines as well as cocktails etc. I would say that if you are in Eymet then Walnut is a don't miss restaurant. ”

“ Market day in Eymet and rather than eat at the restaurants around the square we opted for Walnut. It was quiet but it gave us the opportunity to chat with the owner about items on the menu and where they are sourced. We had the menu during hour which was good. The sweet potato ragout was very tasty and the cafe gourmand was exceptional. We will be back for their Sunday roast. ”
